Bok Choy Roasted Garlic Ginger Sesame
The bok choy looked great at the market, so I decided to try something different from my usual pork belly. I had a tri-tip on the smoker and will toss the bok choy on at the same time since they cook at about the same time and temperature, instead of the oven. Ingredients
- 4-6 baby bok choy
- 2 T neutral oil
- 2 T shoyu
- 2 t minced ginger
- 2 t minced garlic
- 1 t sesame oil
- 1 t chili sesame oil
- 1/2 t rice vinegar
Directions
- Heat oven/smoker to 425F
- Trim the base of the bok choy and cut lengthwise
- Soak the bok choy cold water about 10 minutes to remove the dirt
- Dry the bok choy
- Toss in neutral oil in a bowl
- Place cut side down on silicone lined baking pan
Glaze
- Combine remaining ingredients and mix well, set aside.
- Roast/smoke the bok choy for 15 minutes, until charred.
- Place in bowl and toss with the glaze.
