Ribeye Birthday Dinner
We enjoy celebrating birthdays at home with a nice cut of ribeye and mushrooms. We love the simple joys of life.
Directions
- Season Ribeye at least an inch thick with fresh ground pepper and Hawaiian rock salt
- Rest at room temperature for 30 minutes
- Heat smoker to 450F
- Use a probe set for 135F internal temperature for perfect medium rare
- Takes about 30 minutes, I have learned to trust the probe :-)
- Rest the meat before slicing
