Lazy Frozen Pan Fried Dumplings

Sometimes the easiest snack comes from the freezer in the form of frozen dumplings.  It's easy to go shopping in the freezer when I'm too lazy to make something tasty that offers a crispy outside and savory meat filling with a dipping sauce that finishes a craving without leaving the house.  Frozen foods are like instant convenience food for me.

Ingredients

  • Favorite frozen dumplings
  • Olive oil

Directions

  1. Coat frying pan with olive oil
  2. Add desired amount of dumplings to pan
  3. Cook on high heat for 4 minutes
  4. Add hot water to cover 1/4 of the dumpling, cover and reduce heat to medium for about 10 minutes
  5. It's done when the water evaporates and a crispy brown crust forms on the bottom, I sometimes flip it over to get both sides crispy, depending on how hungry I am
