Our first trip to Burnt Bean was October 2021because we have been following them for years at the BBQ festivals and BBQ Pitmaster reruns. Happy to see they were the #1 BBQ in the Texas Monthly Top 50 List in 2025. It's a nice drive just outside San Antonio. We went on the Friday before the Texas Freeze kicked in and enjoyed Beef Ribs that fell off the bone with the frites, and the chili with beans to go, along with sausage links.
We sat outside where the smokers are to get the full experience. So happy to see BBQ getting Michelin Stars!
