We took a Sunday drive to Killeen and were pleasantly surprised to find some of the best Korean food. The Dolsot bibimbap and fried mackerel were amazing, with generous portions. A sign mentioned a 15–30 minute wait for some dishes while it was being made it worth it. Located in a market, you can wander around, shop, and enjoy the wonderful aromas while your food is prepared. Definitely bring a cooler for leftovers and pastries—the croquettes were just like the ones we had in Japan, and the kimchi version had just the right amount of spice for me! It was a treat to shop where customers and workers were so kind and courteous. One lady shared how she uses ginger, while another gave us an approving nod at our order, saying how good it looked.
