Air Fryer Onion Rings

Air frying makes eating onion rings feel healthy since it's not deep fried and I can use seasonings I have on hand from BBQ rubs to veggie sprinkles. Best part is it's easy for a single serving or portion control!
Ingredients
- 1 onion, sliced thin with a mandolin
- Parmesan cheese
- Favorite seasoning like BBQ rubs or veggie sprinkles
- Tallow or fat that can handle high heat
Directions
- Spread a thin layer of parmesan cheese on a silicone mat
- Add onions with minimal overlap
- Add seasoning
- Drizzle lightly with tallow
- Bake at 390F about 25 minutes, check at 20 minutes to make sure the edges don’t get burnt
I like the edges crispy with a soft onion bite
