Rice Crispy Treats with Bourbon

The smoked salt, smokiness from the bourbon and sweetness from the marshmallows makes the perfect adult tennis snack during a match.

 

Ingredients

  • 8 C rice crispy cereal
  • ½ C tallow (or butter)
  • 10 oz bag mini marshmallows
  • 4 T bourbon
  • Cooking oil spray
  • Smoked salt to finish

Directions

  1. Spray cooking oil generously to cover a 9 x 13 pan
  2. Melt tallow over medium low heat
  3. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth
  4. Remove from heat and stir in Bourbon
  5. Add rice crispy cereal
  6. Press firming into prepared pan
  7. Sprinkle with smoked salt
  8. Let is rest for an hour to cut into pieces.
