We love finding hidden gems that serve the local community with great food and warm hospitality. We enjoyed the sausage plate special and the fish and chips platter—both were excellent. The meat market next to the restaurant tempted us to grab some dried pork loin and a kolache to go since we were already stuffed! The baked good are so light and tasty. The old-school charm of the bulletin board and snacks added to the experience. And of course, no Texas road trip is complete without a stop at Buc-ee's!
