Baked Sushi

I like to creaminess of eating this warm but also is just as tasty at room temperature, leftovers microwave well, too!  It's an easy potluck dish for people to make their own roll.  Just discovered there's flavored nori! This is also a perfect recipe to make mayo since the recipe I use makes 1 C.  It's fast and easy, my kind of cooking.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Layer 3/4" hot rice in 9 X 13 pan (I use brown and white, to make it seem healthier).
  2. Mix remaining ingredients and layer on rice.
  3. Bake 350 F 20-25 minutes.
  4. Finish under a broiler to brown, about 3 minutes in my oven.
  5. Sprinkle furikake.
  6. Eat with nori for hand rolls or scoop out as a rice dish without the nori.
